Course information: This is a 1 day training course for novice or experienced workers for up to a maximum of 12 candidates This can be carried out at your site across the UK or at our training centres The course consists of: Health hazards Protecting incident procedures Equipment Dangers of electricity Voltages Power generation Power distribution Workplace health and safety procedures Environmental impact Network hazards to health Working on the highway Excavations Hazards to health Machinery and equipment Safety when working with electricity Risk assessments Legislation Provision and use of work equipment regulations LOLER regulations The Shea-Power Safety course includes trainer-led theory sessions followed by an EUSR Skills multiple choice questions. Renewal- 3 Year renewal of programme Trained operator theory test Grants Construction companies registered with the CITB levy can claim grants from the CITB for NVQ’s and each completed course
