Course Information This course is designed for operatives who will be renewing their NRSWA Street Works Qualification. A Re-Assessment test is required for each category held on their current SWQR card. Course Content Certification: • LA -Location and Avoidance of Underground Apparatus • 01- Signing Lighting and Guarding • 02 - Excavation in the Carriageways/Footways • 03 - Reinstatement and Compaction of Backfill Materials • 04 - Reinstatement of Sub-base and Base in None Bituminous Materials • 05 - Reinstatement and Compaction of Cold Lay Materials • 06 - Reinstatement and Compaction of Hot Lay Bituminous Materials • 07 - Reinstatement of Concrete Slabs • 08 - Reinstatement of Modular Surfaces and Concrete Footways Supervisor Course Content Certification: • LA - Location and Avoidance of Underground Apparatus • S1 - Monitoring Signing Lighting and Guarding • S2 - Monitoring Excavation in the Highways • S3 - Monitoring Reinstatement and Compaction of Backfill Materials • S4 - Monitoring Reinstatement of Sub-base and Base in None Bituminous Materials • 05 - Monitoring Reinstatement of Bituminous Materials • S6 – Monitoring Reinstatement of Concrete Slabs • 07 - Monitoring Reinstatement of Modular Surfaces and Concrete Footways • Duration 2 Day Refresher Training course including Re-Assessment Test • Duration 1 Day Re-Assessment Test only (No Training Included) Qualification: On successful completion of the training course supervisors will be registered on to the SWQR Street Works Qualifications Register and will be issued with the 5-year Streetworks Certificate and card. Trained operator theory test followed by a practical test Grants Construction companies registered with the CITB levy can claim grants from the CITB for NVQ’s and each completed course
