The Quick Hitch Awareness course is a 1 day training course which is aimed at all 360 excavator operators when operating with a quick hitch device Quick Hitch Safety Awareness training syllabus: Identify the risks associated with quick hitch devices Describe and perform the operator's legal duties with respect to the use of quick hitches Describe and demonstrate safe working practices for the use of quick hitches Connect and disconnect attachments safely in practice Describe and demonstrate when and how to conduct visual inspections of the quick hitch Carry out maintenance of quick hitch equipment Apply and demonstrate appropriate methods for testing connections Follow the manufacturer's specifications for correct use Trained operator theory test followed by a practical test Grants Construction companies registered with the CITB levy can claim grants from the CITB for NVQ’s and each completed course
