Training Options Available:

Novice operators 1-day training course. Experienced operators 1-day assessment on site or at our training centre. Vehicle Marshal Training consists of: Have a basic understanding of the industry and the relevant legislation, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities as a vehicle marshal Set up exclusion zone for loading and unloading Carry out all end of shift and shut down and parking procedures Precautions and actions for overhead services and other hazards How to stay within safe working parameters Communication methods using approved hand signals and other forms of communication Identify and maintain PPE appropriate for vehicle marshal duties Conduct all necessary safety checks at the work area including stop blocks and tipping areas BS7121 legislation Guide machinery in a forward and reverse direction including confined spaces and “blind areas” safely and efficiently Trained operator theory test followed by a practical test.
