Course information: This is a 1/2 day training course for fire marshals. This can be carried out at your site across the UK or at our training centres Aims of the Fire Marshal Training Course: The course is aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety in any workplace. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire. Course Overview Consists of: A fire marshal training course equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to manage fire safety in the workplace, including emergency and non-emergency situations. The training covers fire prevention, hazard identification, emergency procedures, and the use of fire extinguishers. It helps businesses comply with fire safety regulations and ensures a safer environment for all. Both you and your employer have a responsibility to make sure that you’re safe at work, comply with and understand the relevant laws and regulations related to fire safety. This Health & Safety course is designed for workers in all industries to know the fire marshal procedures. Fire Marshal Training Course Contents: • Apply safe use of extinguishers • Be responsible for supervising fire precautions and fire procedures within your organisation • Undertaking preventative checks to ensure that your fire risk assessment and policy is both current and being delivered • Have an awareness of selection and use of the correct fire extinguishers on controlled fires • Adopt effective evacuation procedures • Hazard spotting The theory test is based on multiple choice questions of the training material that have been covered.
