Course information: This is a 1/2 day training course for fire extinguisher. This can be carried out at your site across the UK or at our training centres Aims of the Fire Extinguisher Awareness Training Course: The course is aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety in any workplace. This includes employers and employees working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire and especially in environments with a higher fire risk. Course Overview Consists of: A fire extinguisher awareness training course equips individuals with the knowledge and practical skills to safely and effectively use fire extinguishers. These courses typically cover fire safety basics, extinguisher types, and the proper techniques for operation. Both you and your employer have a responsibility to make sure that you’re safe at work, comply with and understand the relevant laws and regulations related to fire safety. This Health & Safety course is designed for workers in all industries to know how to use a fire extinguisher. Fire Extinguisher Awareness Training Course Contents: • Fire Safety Fundamentals ( the fire triangle) • Fire Extinguisher Types • Practical Application • Emergency Procedures • Fire Prevention • Inspection and Maintenance • Legal Requirements The theory test is based on multiple choice questions of the training material that have been covered.
