Course information: This is a 1/2 day training course for novice and the experienced operators. This can be carried out at your site across the UK or at our training centres The ½ Day COSHH Awareness Course is designed to help employers fulfil their legal duty of care under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002. It ensures that Individuals understand the COSHH Regulations and requirements including the employer’s responsibility to control substances that are hazardous to health. It covers the risks associated with hazardous substances which employees are likely to come into contact within the workplace and provides guidance on appropriate control measures. By completing this scheme, individuals will be equipped with the knowledge and understanding of the laws and Regulations relating to hazardous substances in the workplace; how risk assessments contribute to the safe use of hazardous substances in the workplace and the precautions and procedures necessary to ensure that risks associated with hazardous substances are properly controlled.
